Amazonite Stick Necklace

red-line.gif

Amazonite elongated "sticks" combine with 6mm beads to form a charming necklace in a delightful blue green. I've spaced each stick bead with tiny sterling silver balls and addded a hammered Thai toggle in sterling silver. Wear it with jeans, a gauze top, any v-neck top. Wear it all four seasons. Exquisitely chic for any occasion.

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

The necklace is 18 inches long.

Note: Amazonite varies in color from yellow-green to blue-green and may also exhibit fine white streaks. Amazonite is a gemstone variety of green microcline, a feldspar mineral. It is usually opaque and therefore is cut en cabochon. Care should be taken in storing this gemstone to protect it from scratches. Amazonite has been mined in Minas Gerais (Brazil), Colorado (U.S.), Ontario and Quebec (Canada), Baveno (Italy) and the Ural Mountains of Russia. Folklore suggests this is a stone of healing and one to improve a marriage.

Enjoy wearing this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
