Mojave Turquoise Designer Pendant

T his teardrop cut stone is called Mojave Turquoise. It is formed from small particles of blue Kingman turquoise, then dyed purple with a fusion process that adds a shiny bronze color to the matrix. The stone is stabilized and polished, and has a slightly rounded surface. I've wrapped it using lengths of square silver wire, then added my signature topper. Enjoy this gorgeous stone for yourself or gift someone special!

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

The pendant is 1 3/4" high and 7/8" wide.

Note: There is only one source for this particular type of Turquoise. That source is from the Kingman mine in Arizona. The material starts out as stabilized Blue Kingman Turquoise which is then dyed purple and from there goes through a Bronze fusion process that creates a shiny bronze color to the matrix. It is then formed, polished and set in necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. As far as can be determined, the Kingman mine is the only mine authorized to process their Turquoise in this manner. I purchased this particular stone from a stonecutter in Yuma, AZ.

Enjoy this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
