hand-crafted jewelry from beautiful Bonny Doon

Amazonite Pendant

This stone reminds me of a cloudy day with bands of pale white dropping down over a clear, green-tinged blue. The color is truly beautiful. A filigree sterling border wrap sets off the simplicity of the stone. This pendant worn on a short omega chain so the stone fits the hollow of the neck will be sure to turn heads.

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

The stone measures 1 3/8" in diameter.

Note: Amazonite varies in color from yellow-green to blue-green and may also exhibit fine white streaks. Amazonite is a gemstone variety of green microcline, a feldspar mineral. It is usually opaque and therefore is cut en cabochon. Care should be taken in storing this gemstone to protect it from scratches. Amazonite has been mined in Minas Gerais (Brazil), Colorado (U.S.), Ontario and Quebec (Canada), Baveno (Italy) and the Ural Mountains of Russia. Folklore suggests this is a stone of healing and one to improve a marriage.

Enjoy this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
