Belle Rustique

hand-crafted jewelry from beautiful Bonny Doon

Russian Seraphinite Designer Cab Pendant

Seraphinite is typically a dark green with silvery flecks running through it. This piece has a high degree of chatoyancy and is absolutely beautiful with its top of feathery pale green and white and deeper green bottom (even prettier in person!). I've given it a simple sterling silver border wrap topped with two swirls and tiny claws.

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

The pendant measures 2 1/4" from top of bail and is 1 1/8" wide at the base.

Note: Seraphinite is a variety of clinochlore which forms from the metamorphic and hydrothermal alterations of other iron and magnesium silicate minerals. The variety seraphinite has silvery chatoyant fibers much like charoite with a vitreous to pearly luster. It is mined from the Bratsk region of Siberia. For a while it disappered from the market but thankfully, has resurfaced. It is still too new to the market for any folklore to have developed.

Enjoy this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
