hand-crafted jewelry from beautiful Bonny Doon

Russian Seraphinite Designer Cab Pendant

Seraphinite is typically a dark green with silvery flecks running through it. This piece shows both the dark green and the lighter chatoyancy in the lower half of the cabochon. I've border wrapped it in 21 ga. sterling wire with a topper of swirls and curls and tiny claws.

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

The pendant measures 2 1/2" from top of bail and is 1" wide at the base.

Note: Seraphinite is a variety of clinochlore which forms from the metamorphic and hydrothermal alterations of other iron and magnesium silicate minerals. The variety seraphinite has silvery chatoyant fibers much like charoite with a vitreous to pearly luster. It is mined from the Bratsk region of Siberia. For a while it disappered from the market but thankfully, has resurfaced. It is still too new to the market for any folklore to have developed.

Enjoy this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
