Shattuckite/Chrysocolla Designer Cab

Often similar to turquoise in appearance, chrysocolla usually occurs as a bright green or bluish crust or as compact grapelike groups in copper mining areas, particularly Chile, the former USSR and Zaire. This petite Shattuckite/Chrysocolla specimen comes from Southeastern Arizona and was cut and polished in Michigan. It features shades of turquoise with a cocoa brown background matrix and tiny areas of rich blue coloring. Shattuckite, originally discovered in 1915 at the Shattuck Mine near Bisbee, AZ, is quite rare and this is a fine specimen. I've border-wrapped it using six strands of sterling silver square wire and added my signature topper. A sturdy bail will accommodate most chains. Enjoy!

Treat someone special to this one-of-a-kind gift or buy it for yourself.

This pendant measures 1 3/4" from top of bail and is slightly over 3/4" wide.

Note: Chrysocolla is a copper bearing mineral found wherever copper deposits occur especially in areas of the southwestern USA, Chili, Zaire, Australia, France and England. Shattuckite is found near the copper mines of Bisbee, AZ. The combination is very beautiful and said to be extremely healing.

Enjoy this unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry.
